BBC Children's Personas

As designers, we have a whole utility Bat-belt of tools we can pick an choose from when approaching projects. For me, "personas" are one tool that I always have present in the workshopping environment.

This is particularly crucial for us ol' fogies (read: adults) who are designing for children, as the huge variance in behaviours and cognitive ability within the age-range of our user base is often a world away from us.

I created these persona cards representing the users of both CBeebies and CBBC after an extensive ethnographic study was conducted of users in the UK. They are bright, colourful and fun -just like our audience!
